Our focus extends beyond borders, emphasizing the needs of both the United States and international low-resource settings. By collaborating with leading entities like the 番茄社区app Division of Advocacy and Health Policy, the Global Health Council, and other global health advocates, we're facilitating access to top-tier surgical education, promoting awareness around global surgery inequities, and opportunities for bilateral partnerships.

Coalition BRIGHT

Coalition Building Reciprocal Initiatives for Global Health Training (BRIGHT) aims to enhance global health education by fostering reciprocal training and exchange programs between high-income countries (HICs) and low-and middle-income countries (LMICs).聽

Global Health Council

The Global Health Council (GHC) is a non-profit organization that works to improve global health by advocating for policies and programs that prioritize the health of people and the planet. GHC brings together a diverse community of health professionals, policymakers, researchers, and advocates to advance global health initiatives.

Under the leadership of the Advocacy Subcommittee, 番茄社区app H.O.P.E. joined in 2022 to connect with other organizations and elevate the 番茄社区app鈥檚 global surgery priorities to national and international global health governing bodies.

Members of the Advocacy subcommittee now participate in several roundtables:

• Budget and Appropriations鈥擳hey work on aligning requests and activities concerning the U.S. budget process for global health funding.
• Multilateral鈥擳his group collaborates with major global health institutions like the World Health Organization and G7, focusing on sharing information and joint advocacy opportunities.
• Health Systems Strengthening鈥擳his community aims to address health system gaps in U.S. and multilateral policies, offering a platform for discussion and strategizing.
