The American College of Surgeons is dedicated to improving the care of the surgical patient and safeguarding standards of care in an optimal and ethical practice environment.
Three groups are responsible for formulating and implementing the policies of the College.
The Regents formulate policy and direct the affairs of the College.
The Governors act as the liaison between the Board of Regents and the Fellows.
Local ·¬ÇÑÉçÇøapp Chapters exert the College’s influence at the community level, with 65 in the US, two in Canada, and 46 in countries abroad.
