About the Annual Surgeons and Engineers: A Dialogue on Surgical Simulation Meeting

The objective of the annual Surgeons and Engineers: A Dialogue on Surgical Simulation Meeting is to provide a novel forum for the exchange of challenges and potentially applicable technologies between surgeons, surgical educators, engineers, and scientists. Surgeons and surgical educators will present the needs and challenges encountered in their delivery of surgical education. Academic and industry engineers and scientists will have the opportunity to present existing technologies鈥攐r those in development鈥攖hat have the potential to be applied to and successfully address the presented challenges. Through this exchange, we endeavor to promote future collaboration between the surgical and engineering communities.
