About the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇøapp Foundation

Since its founding in 1913, the American College of Surgeons has recognized the importance of philanthropy in supporting the College’s mission of ensuring the provision of the best possible surgical care for patients. Over the ensuing years, Fellows have generously responded with contributions to support the myriad of programs, scholarships, and fellowships that benefit our Fellows, as well as the communities they serve.

I am pleased to report that Foundation philanthropic support is growing internationally, demonstrating the need for and recognition of the impact the College’s programs and services have beyond the shores of North America. Your gifts provide the funds to permit Fellows from Asia, South America, Europe, and Africa to travel to Clinical Congress, visit top medical institutions, and then return home to share best practices with their surgical peers.

The impact of your continuing generous support of the work of the College and of the Foundation cannot be overstated. Your gifts will continue to impact the College’s mission for years to come, ensuring the advancement of patient care and helping to save lives throughout the world.

Thank you for your commitment to financially support the work of the College and, in doing so, uniting as Fellows for the benefit of the patient.
