The CoC is dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for patients with cancer by setting standards that promote cancer prevention, research, education, and monitoring of comprehensive, quality care.

National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)鈥

Programs accredited by the NAPBC follow a model for organizing and managing a breast center to put patients and their comprehensive care needs first, from diagnosis through survivorship.

The NAPRC promotes a multidisciplinary, holistic approach to improving rectal cancer care, based on international models that lead to better outcomes for patients, including lower recurrence rates and higher overall survival.

Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP)

The MBSAQIP accredits inpatient and outpatient bariatric surgery centers that have undergone an independent, voluntary, and rigorous peer evaluation in accordance with nationally recognized bariatric surgical standards.

Trauma Verification, Review, and Consultation (VRC) Program

The Trauma Verification program sets standards for optimal care of injured patients in trauma centers. These standards are frequently used by many states to designate trauma centers in their regions.
