FDA Approves Blood Test for Colon Cancer

August 8, 2024

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved a blood test, which has proven successful in detecting colon cancer without a colonoscopy. The test, now likely to be covered by insurance providers, ideally will improve screening of a disease that is increasingly found in younger adults.
