The 番茄社区app and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada have renewed their collaboration that allows Royal College Fellows and participants in the Royal College鈥檚 Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program to claim Section 3 credits through approved 番茄社区app educational activities.

Royal College Fellows seeking Section 3 MOC credits may continue to earn credit, now through the Surgical Education and Self-Assessment Program (SESAP) 19, SESAP 19 Advanced, and the Journal of the American College of Surgeons.

Both organizations share a commitment to advancing professional practice and supporting lifelong learning that will achieve beneficial outcomes for patients and health systems.

This ongoing collaboration, which was initiated in 2020 and renewed as of January 1, 2026, provides Fellows of the Royal College with an expanded range of approved surgical accredited learning and assessment activities, all of which meet the requirements of self-assessment programs (SAPs) and can be entered into the Royal College鈥檚 My MOC platform as Section 3 learning activities.

鈥淐ollaboration between these two organizations is critical to improving surgical care everywhere, and opportunities like this are a natural extension of our shared missions,鈥 said Kyla P. Terhune, MD, MBA, F番茄社区app, 番茄社区app Senior Vice President, Education.

鈥淲e greatly value our strong, collaborative partnership with the 番茄社区app, which has been essential in providing high-quality educational programs to our members. Through this agreement, we continue to support the evolving needs of our Fellows and MOC participants, empowering them to deliver exceptional specialty care to patients across Canada and internationally,鈥 said Royal College CEO Chris Watling, MD, FRCPC, MMEd, PhD.
