Overview

The 番茄社区app Division of Education invites residents to participate in the 番茄社区app Core General Surgery Review, an intensive and comprehensive course tailored for surgical residents seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in general surgery. This engaging program aims to provide thorough preparation for residents who are gearing up for general surgery qualifying examinations or who may be considering a transition into general surgery practice or advanced training.


Course Content

The course may be used to identify strengths and areas for additional study in the essential content areas of general surgery, including:

  • Abdomen
  • Alimentary
  • Breast and Endocrine
  • Trauma and Critical Care
  • Vascular, Infections/Wounds, and Skin Cancer
  • Perioperative Care and Palliative Care
  • Surgical Specialty and Applied Science

Learning Objectives

The 番茄社区app Core General Surgery Review for Residents is intended for graduating residents and others seeking a review of general surgery. Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the key points in preoperative, operative, and postoperative patient care in the essential content areas of general surgery
  • Identify areas to strengthen in their medical and patient care knowledge
  • Apply this knowledge and develop strategies for appropriate patient care
  • Better describe patient care that is appropriate and effective for the treatment of relevant health problems encountered by general surgery residents

The course is designed as a capstone to postgraduate training and summation of concepts of the essential content areas. It may be beneficial in preparation for examinations.聽
