The Year-Long Celebration of Our Centennial

The American College of Surgeons (番茄社区app) Centennial celebration was launched during our 2012 Clinical Congress in Chicago, IL, September 30鈥揙ctober 4, 2012, and featured special program sessions, exhibits, and commemorative publications that paid tribute to the College鈥檚 100-year unwavering commitment to improving the quality of care for surgical patients.

In recognition of how the College鈥檚 efforts and achievements have significantly influenced the course of surgery in America and around the world, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Illinois Governor Pat Quinn designated September 30鈥揙ctober 4 as 鈥淎merican College of Surgeons Days鈥� in the city and state.
